Hannah Hartley was born on December 2nd, 1994 in Los Santos, San Andreas. She grew up in a modest, medium-income household as an only child. During her middle school years, Hannah was one of the most popular students in the school due to her great social skills and athletic abilities and exceptional grades. She enjoyed visiting the nearby state parks with his father, to escape from the skyscrapers of Los Santos and the ear-raping urban noises. Hiking was her favorite free time activity in her childhood.
When she was fourteen years old, on a hike with her father, tragedy struck. Her father took a wrong step and fell into a deep valley at Mount Chilliad. Hannah tried grabbing his jacket, but it was too late. It was inevitable. The drop was two hundred meters, he couldn't survive, and Hannah was stuck there, alone, without a GPS or a phone. She lived off of the supplies they brought with them, until two days later, she was found by Park Rangers. Mountain Search and Rescue units have found the body of her father on the same day. Hannah was devastated by the loss of her father at such a young age, and it deeply influenced her behavior. She became more introverted in High School, leading to her being alone most of the time.
However, with the help of a psychologist, she was able to get through the loss of her father, but the damage to her personality was already done. Even though she opened up a bit, she barely had any friends. This led her to look for more hobbies and potential jobs. She was accepted as a cashier in a fast-food restaurant in Downtown Los Santos. Working after-school shifts on weekdays, and nine-to-five shifts on weekends, she was able to secure a stable income for herself.
After High School, she applied to the University of San Andreas, for Criminal Justice. She graduated successfully at the age of 22 and applied to the San Andreas Department of Corrections and Rehabilitations as a parole agent. Her job was to rehabilitate people, apprehend parolees-at-large, and conduct investigations against potential parole violators. She quickly made her way up on the rank ladder, currently serving as a Specialist and Training Officer. However, she realized that she maxed out all the career opportunities in the Division, with the only remaining step being a promotion to supervisor. She was not interested in the supervisor position, and it made her search for similar jobs opportunities. She settled on the District Attorney's Office, due to her working closely with them as a parole agent, applying for the position of DA Investigator.
